CSAW Event In-Person

Interns are currently working on two special projects: one researching the Civilian Conservation Corps’ construction work at Palo Duro Canyon, and the other researching the Gregg-Marcy trail, which cuts through the Wildcat Bluff Nature Center property. As part of the culmination of these projects, the interns will each record a 7-10 minute video showcasing their research. For the event, we will have the interns introduce their project, play the video, repeat for the second project, and then hold Q&A with the audience.

We’d like to hold this event on Dec. 12 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. We do not anticipate a large audience, maybe 30? We would need a screen for the interns to show their videos. Would it be possible to do this in the Blackburn room (preferred) or the lecture room? I’m not sure if I should’ve brought this question to you, but since you’re on the CSAW board, it seemed a good place to start. Please feel free to forward me to the correct contact, if needed.
